Argon Laser Photocoagulation

Argon retina laser has 2 large usage areas:

The first of these is the application of laser to ischemic retinal regions in diseases with retinal ischemia such as Diabetic Retinopathy.

The second is its use for holes, tears and thin areas in the retina. If these weak areas are not lasered, retinal detachment may develop and require much more severe treatment.

It is applied with local drop anesthesia,

It takes 5-10 minutes in experienced hands,

Both eye can be treated in one session.

It has become very fast and almost completely painless thanks to modern laser devices.

Intravitreal Injection

AntiVEGF
Dex. Implant

It is most commonly used in the treatment of

diabetic retinopathy and

age-related macular degeneration.

Intraocular injections should be made under sterile conditions, in appropriate doses and on time.

Patient follow-up and repeat injections when necessary are essential for success in treatment.
