CORNEA

is the clear “window” on the front of your eye

KERATOCONUS

Keratoconus occurs when your cornea thins and gradually bulges outward into a cone shape. A cone-shaped cornea causes blurred vision. Keratoconus usually affects both eyes, though it often affects one eye more than the other. It generally begins to affect people between the ages of 10 and 25.

A new treatment called corneal collagen cross-linking may help to slow or stop keratoconus from progressing. Corneal ring implantation and corneal transplantation are the other treatment options for advanced cases. Our team perform all current treatments available.

GLAUCOMA

High Intraocular Pressure

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve and cause blindness. Techniques to reduce intraocular pressure are used in its treatment. Drop treatments, laser treatments and, in necessary cases, surgical methods are used. Trabeculectomy is still the most widely used current treatment method. Our team applies this treatment in the best way.

Early diagnosis of this disease is very important. The necessary tests for this are:

  • Visual field test
  • Pachymetry
  • Optic coherence tomography
  • Intraocular pressure measurement

Children Eye

When is the ideal time for an eye exam?

Have your babies eye exams at 3rd, 6th, 12th months and every year thereafter.

Strabismus and Amblyopia (lazy eye) are the most common problems in children.

Our comprehensive eye exam for preschool children includes a series of tests for:

  • Visual acuity
  • Lazy eye
  • Stereopsis (3D vision)
  • Eye tracking
  • Convergence
  • Color vision
  • Ocular health

OCULAR AESTHETIC

Some of the procedures performed by our treatment team:

  • Blepharoplasty
  • Botox
  • Xanthelasma
  • Tumor excision
  • Entropion
  • Ectropion
  • Fox eyes

Dry Eye

Diagnostic Tests & Treatment Options

Diagnostic Test for Dry Eye:

  • Tear Volume
  • Tear Film Stability
  • Tear Turnover Rate
  • Corneal&Conjunctival Evaluation
  • Lid Evaluation

Punctal plugs are tiny devices that are placed in the eye’s tear ducts (called punta). Puncta are the tiny openings that drain tears from your eyes. About the size of a grain of rice, the plug stops fluid from draining from the eye. This helps keep the eye’s surface moist and comfortable, relieving itchy, burning and red eyes.

Lipiflow is a ground breaking technology used to treat dry eye disease caused by Meibomian Gland Dysfunction. The LipiFlow Thermal Pulsation System is designed to open and clear blocked glands which then allows the body to resume the natural production of lipids (oils) needed for the tear film.
